OUR TEAM
Brady Dental Care was first established on the east side of Des Moines more than four decades ago by Dr. Kent Brady. In 2012, his son, and now owner, Dr. Corbin Brady, joined his father and continued to build into the practice. In 2019, Kent hung up his scrubs, although still fills in from time to time. Dr. Throckmorton joined the team in 2023 to continue on the legacy.
We truly believe, however, that what sets our practice apart is the rest of our team members. Our hygienists, assistants, and front staff members are some of the most skilled and compassionate team members in dentistry. Some have been with us for over 30 years! They truly care about each patient and the experience they have. It is the relationships, the core values, and the patient-centered philosophies that keep our patients coming back year after year.
Dr. Corbin Brady | Dentist
Dr. Corbin Brady was born and raised on the east side of Des Moines. With his dad as the original owner of Brady Dental Care, he spent many years at the dental practice. This is where his love of dentistry began.
After graduating from Des Moines Christian in 2005, Dr. Brady attended the University of Iowa to pursue dental school. He graduated in 2012 and soon joined his father’s practice. Dr. Brady enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, chatting about health and nutrition, and reading.
Dr. Brandon Throckmorton | Dentist
Dr. Brandon Throckmorton was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, at the University of Iowa, and graduated in 2019.
He is a big Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Vikings fan. In his free time, he loves to be outdoors. He enjoys hunting, trapshooting, hiking, and kayaking. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Karlie, friends, and family.
Dr. Throckmorton looks forward to building relationships with patients and providing quality, personalized care.
Kourtney | Office Administrator
Kourtney grew up in Iowa City and attended Iowa State where she obtained her marketing degree. She joined the Brady Dental Care team in 2019, following Becky's retirement.
Kourtney lives in Grimes with her husband, daughter, and twin boys. In her free time, (What's that?) she enjoys spending time with her family or curling up with a good book.
Mariah | Dental Assistant
Mariah is originally from Sully, Iowa. In 2015, she became a dental assistant. Her favorite part about dental assisting is getting to know the patients and helping them feel at ease while at the dental office. She and her husband have two dogs, Coach and Wren.
Mariah enjoys running, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.
Kyra | Dental Assistant
Kyra attended MCC where she received her certification as a dental assistant in 2022. She joined the Brady Dental Care team in 2023. Kyra's favorite part about being a dental assistant is helping patients and making them comfortable while at the dental office.
Kyra is from Netwon, Iowa, and currently lives there with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, kayaking, going for walks and almost anything outdoors!
Maddie | Dental Hygienist
Maddie graduated from Hawkeye Community College in 2013. She is originally from Urbandale and returned to the Des Moines area after graduation. Maddie shadowed at Brady Dental Care while in college and was thrilled to officially join the team in 2018!
Outside of the office, Maddie enjoys snuggling her boys, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors!
Julie | Dental Hygienist
Julie graduated from DMACC where she studied Dental Hygiene and has been working for Brady Dental care for over 30 years.
She is a Des Moines native and enjoys family time, traveling, and shopping.
Debbie | Dental Hygienist
Debbie attended Wichita State University and is a registered dental hygienist. She started with Brady Dental Care in 1996. (How did those years fly by?).
Debbie and her husband, Ray, call Boone home. They have a daughter, Katie, a wonderful son-in-law, Nick, and two precious grandchildren, Emma and Eli. Debbie also stays busy playing the piano and planning the music for their church. She loves to read, play games, quilt, and travel (any beach will do!)
Kiana | Dental Hygienist
Kiana is a registered dental hygienist and graduated from the University of South Dakota, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in the dental hygiene program. She grew up in small town, Iowa, and has called Des Moines home since 2015. One reason Kiana enjoys being a hygienist is to educate her patients to help them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She looks forward to making each dental visit a positive experience for all of her patients.
In her free time, Kiana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active by biking and playing volleyball, and loves everything Christmas!
Chrissy | Dental Hygienist
Chrissy grew up in Carlisle, IA, and attended Des Moines Area Community College, where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2023. She is highly devoted to educating her patients on their individual needs and makes their concerns her number one priority. Her goal is to make every patient look and feel their best!
Beyond work, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her family, working out with her boyfriend and going on walks with her dog, Myla.
